Bethany is first and foremost a Mother to her children. For the past decade she has devoted the majority of her time to the care of her two beautiful daughters and son. Presently she works as a Massage Therapist in Tucson Arizona.
During her pregnancy with her first daughter in 2006, Bethany began her journey into Herbalism and using food for healing. Bethany has taught Herbalism classes through Borderlands Restoration in Patagonia AZ and independently hosts informational and how-to workshops through Revitalist Botanicals. Revitalist also sells herbal preparations made from local native, non-native and invasive plants.
In 2012, soon after the birth of her second daughter, Bethany completed Birth Doula Training through DONA International. She currently offers Birth and Postpartum Doula services in Tucson, AZ and surrounding areas.
Recognizing the ever increasing importance, in her own life, of a regular yoga practice, and witnessing it's profound effects on the healing journey of a friend who had suffered a stroke, Bethany decided to pursue Yoga Teacher Certification. In the spring of 2016, Bethany completed her 200 YTT and Master Reiki certification through Yandara in Baja California. Her teaching focuses on individual instruction for those working towards better body awareness, structural realignment, healing of injuries and health maintenance. She currently offers individual instruction at SpaDaze in Tucson, AZ and individual and group classes by request.
Bethany first began her caregiving journey in 2005 when she helped her grandmother care for her great-grandfather during the last days of his life. Since that time she has cared for those with disabilities, individuals recuperating from illness/injury, those confined to their homes due to immobility issues and/or chemical sensitivities. True to her first experiences as a caregiver, she holds a special place for working with those passing from this life.
